The Evesham Township Police Department has entered into a shared service agreement with the Evesham Fire Department. This agreement enhances our emergency response capacity in the southern portion of the community.
The agreement allows our agency to house our U.T.V. (utility terrain vehicle) and our A.T.V.βs (all-terrain vehicles) at the Kettle Run Firehouse. This saves time, not having to transport the vehicles from the northern section of the township.
The storage of these vehicles at the Kettle Run Firehouse will allow for the rapid deployment of these vehicles to the remote and wooded areas within the southern portion of township, that are often inaccessible by patrol vehicles. This shared service will allow our officers to provide our residents with an enhanced level of security and response while utilizing these vehicles, via our new rapid deployment capabilities. 6 Likes

This weekend, as we gather with friends and family to celebrate the end of the summer, let's take a moment to reflect on the true essence of Labor Day and its significance in our great nation's history. πΊπΈ
Labor Day is not just about BBQs and relaxation; it's about honoring the contributions of all working men and women across the United States who have tirelessly dedicated their skills, time, and efforts to building this incredible country. It's a day to remember the labor movement's achievements and the progress we've made in workers' rights over the years.
As firefighters, we understand the importance of solidarity and the power of collective bargaining. It's through the efforts of labor unions like ours that we've been able to secure fair wages, safe working conditions, and benefits that allow us to serve our community effectively.
We are proud to be part of a tradition that fights for workers' rights, both in our profession and beyond. On this Labor Day, we salute all our brothers and sisters in the labor movement and express our gratitude for the sacrifices you've made to improve the lives of workers everywhere.
Let's also take a moment to remember those who continue to work tirelessly this weekend, including our fellow first responders who are on duty, ensuring the safety and well-being of our community even during the holiday. Your dedication and commitment are nothing short of heroic.
In the spirit of Labor Day, let's continue to educate ourselves about workers' rights and advocate for a fair and just workplace for all. Together, we can make a difference and build a brighter future.
Enjoy the weekend, stay safe, and thank you for your continued support!
