When an emergency happens, adequate in-house staffing ensures a timely response to quickly and efficiently mitigate the situation. Our members have worked hand in hand with management to ensure Fire and EMS services are available around the clock.
Our members attend regular training programs to better ourselves to be ready to help you. All of our members carry multiple certifications in Fire and EMS, including level 1 or higher fire service instructors, Fire Inspectors, Uniform Construction Code inspectors, Firefighter Levels 1 & 2, and more. Not to mention the while EMT-B is the minimum requirement, many of our members are Paramedics.
Helping those in need does not stop at the end of our shifts. The Evesham Professional Firefighters have a 501(c)3 registered charitable foundation that helps support our fellow firefighters and the community we serve.

If you’re reading this wondering what plans you have this weekend—or how much candy you’re going to eat on Sunday (whether you celebrate Easter or not)—time to rethink, Cheech.
Because while you’ve been waiting for civil service to post that list in May (just so you can wait again to be certified), Evesham Fire-Rescue has been hiring.
While others are prepping for “the next test cycle,” you could be locking down your future with a department that’s grown by 88% in the last 10 years.
And you? You’ve got three days to drag yourself out of that cave you’ve been living in, pull it together, and drop off your application by April 21 at 4:00 PM.
This is not a drill. This is your last chance.

After their first four intense days of academy training, these recruits sat down not just to learn about the job—but about the family they’ve joined. Our Union Orientation has quickly become a proud tradition: food on the table, wisdom in the room, and real conversations that set the tone for a career of solidarity, service, and strength.
To our newest members: welcome to the family. You’re not just here to fight fires or respond to emergencies. You’re here to be part of something bigger. And we’ve got your back every step of the way.
Special thanks to The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks - Marlton NJ Lodge #2514 for allowing us to host this proud tradition. 9 Comments
We’re proud to kick it off by celebrating the promotion of FF/I Lyle Hamilton to Lieutenant!
Lyle joined the department in August of 2015 and has served in a number of roles over the years—everything from managing turnout gear distribution to being exceptionally skilled at locating and eliminating any fridge leftovers (not that A-Shift will ever leave any, of course). He’s also known for his “charisma,” though that term is often met with an eye roll (or two).
After several years on C-Shift, yesterday was his final shift as Firefighter, it’s time for his next role—leading B-Shift as Lieutenant starting this Wednesday.
We’re excited to see him step into this leadership role and continue making an impact.
This is just the beginning—stay tuned for more updates as we move forward into this new era. 58 Comments
